1. The service

Wordseal is a shared-record and reminder app where two people keep an IOU record together and may invite a trusted witness to see it. Wordseal does not move money, take payments, lend or collect. Records are confirmations given through accounts; they are not an e-signature, identity verification or official document.

2. Account and eligibility

You must be 18 or older. You are responsible for activity on your account. You may not create records in someone else's name without their permission.

3. Rules of use

• Do not create misleading, abusive or unlawful records.
• Do not misuse the app to pressure witnesses or the other person; “Remind the witnesses” is only for records that are past due.
• Do not abuse the service with automated tools.

4. Free plan and Premium

On the free plan you can start a limited number of open records at a time; confirming, witnessing and marking payments or partial payments are always free. Premium removes the record limit of the free plan, unlocks installment plans and their reminders, allows more witnesses per record and removes ads. The only cap is an abuse-protection ceiling: at most 200 open records at a time; closed records free up space. When a subscription ends your existing records are kept; only starting new records returns to the free limit. Subscriptions are managed and canceled through your store account; prices are shown in the store.

5. Ads

On the free plan an ad may appear below the records list. Ads that offer an extra record in return are optional. See the Privacy Policy for your ad choices.

6. Limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is”. The people who enter a record are responsible for its accuracy. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages.

7. Ending your account

You can delete your account in the app at any time (details). We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
